WORSHIP SERVICES

Our worship is informal. The services are interactive and there are many opportunities for individuals to participate and contribute. We focus on what God, faith and community mean in our daily lives.

 

Join us at 4:00 pm on Sunday afternoons for:

  • Live music
  • Bible reading
  • Drama
  • Children's stories
  • Group and Individual Prayer
  • Sunday School for children
  • Evening meal served

 

*Translation for deaf and some transportation provided*

  • To Agape participants
  • Available each Sunday (all year round)

PORKALICIOUS

Low cost meat (from a local farmer)

  • To Agape participants
  • Offered each Sunday upon availability

TEA TIME TUESDAY

Gathering of people who like to make crafts and converse  

  • Sign language instruction
  • Cook together
  • Develop crafts skills
  • Make mats
  • Bi-weekly on Tuesdays

F.E.W. FOOD, EMOTIONS and WEIGHT

Group that focuses on healthy living, diet and exercise  

  • Regular swimming and Aquafit in one of London's public pools
  • Instruction on how to eat well without high food costs
  • Discussion about how attitudes effect our eating habits

WELCOME WEDNESDAY

Free meal, activities and friendship offered North East London community

  • Located at the Salvation Army Church on Vesta and Huron Street
  • 11:00 - 2:00 Coffee, cookies, conversation and games
  • 12:00 - 1:00 Lunch is served
  • Program offered every Wednesday



Program partners include Agape Fellowship,

Salvation Army, United, Baptist, Presbyterian,

Catholic and Mennonite churches.

BIBLE STUDY

Time of teaching, discussion and trusting interaction

  • Questions distributed to stimulate thought and meditation 
  • Bi-weekly gathering during the winter months

Agape participants provides leadership for Agape activities.

  • Opportunity for Agape participants to learn leadership skills
  • Encourages shared ownership
  • Offers experience sitting on a board of directors
  • Participants provide counsel, advice and wisdom

Personal support to individuals as needed

  • Conversation
  • Referrals to professional services
  • Other supports

RETREAT

An annual time to get away from it all, enjoy nature and focus on spirituality, community and healthy living.

 

 

  • Fall of each year, 2 days and 2 nights
  • Located at Hidden Acres Mennonite Camp
  • Discussions
  • Amazing food
  • Relaxation in nature
  • Swimming, dancing, games
  • Worship
  • Visits with friends
  • Community building
  • Opportunity for an intimate awareness of God's presence
